Dozens of events were held as part of the university's expanded Big Red Welcome, including Nebraska's first-year student tunnel run, a giant icebreaker activity in Campus Rec, new student convocation and a barbeque with Chancellor Ronnie Green.
The Red Memorial, an annual University of Nebraska–Lincoln event to remember and celebrate the lives of students, faculty, staff and alumni who died during the current academic year, is 5:30 p.m. April 12.
