Wednesday, August 25, 2021 Counselor-in-Residence program continues

The Counselor-in-Residence program will continue its easy-access, mental health counseling services to students who live in dormitories on campus this fall. Through the program, three counselors, each of whom serves a different residential complex, offer increased preventative resources for mental health, stress reduction, relationship health and overall wellness.

Following more than a year of discussion, review and implementation, the University of Nebraska system has launched a Chosen Name and Gender Identity Policy, allowing students, faculty and staff at all NU campuses — including UNL — to select their chosen name, gender identity and pronouns.

Thursday, August 12, 2021 Free shuttles to bring students from East Campus during Big Red Welcome

On August 18, 20, 21 and 22, students can ride free shuttle busses from East Campus to attend Big Red Welcome evening events on City Campus. Busses will meet Huskers at Entomology Hall on the East Campus Mall and drop off at 14th & Vine St. Shuttles will return students throughout the evenings.
