[Daily Nebraskan] Students can identify a chosen name by accessing their student information system with no documentation needed. From there, the student’s chosen name will be used “wherever possible in the course of University education, business and communication,” according to the policy statement.

The rowing team at Nebraska was founded by Nebraska graduate student Alan Maybee who was interested in bringing the sport to UNL despite the state being triply landlocked. The men's team was formed in 1969 and the women’s team in 1972.

Wednesday, September 1, 2021 CAPS drop-in workshops address a multitude of student needs

A fresh lineup of student workshops is available for students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). Workshop topics include pandemic resilience, assertiveness, anger management, gratitude, communication, life skill building and more.

Each workshop is hosted by a trained professional staff member from CAPS and most sessions last approximately 60 minutes. All workshops will be via Zoom. Students do not need to register beforehand to participate.
