Over the course of the pandemic, visits to Nebraska’s Husker Pantry have increased by 30%. Huskers can help provide a meal to a student in need by donating to the upcoming Glow Big Red giving campaign.

In response to the ongoing pandemic, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lincoln EITC Coalition, is offering area residents free tax preparation virtually this year as part of its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

All students are encouraged to participate from 7 to 8:30 p.m. February 16. The event will feature Black public officials discussing their fields with a focus on race and inequality in policy and administration.

Friday, February 12, 2021 Yogathon 'Chai & Chill' to soothe minds Feb. 23

The evening will feature a variety of yoga styles for the participants to sample, including vinyãsa, slow yoga flow, meditation, and yin. Participants will enjoy a chai-style beverage together after the yoga sessions.

Student Involvement is headquartered in Room 200 of the Nebraska Union.

In the twilight hours one evening last week, about 200 Huskers powered up their Zoom personas one more time before calling it a day - yet it wasn't for another class lecture or remote concert. Monday, February 8, 2021 UNL students will pay less for on-campus living next year

Instead of the usual increase, students living on campus at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will pay less for room and board next year. The University of Nebraska Board of Regents previously gave administrators authority to hike room and board rates by 3% annually through the 2022-23 school year. Instead of rising from $12,185 — the current cost for a traditional dorm room and an all-access meal plan — to $12,551 next year, the cost will actually go down to $11,918.

Monday, February 8, 2021 COVID-19 regulations allow student organizations to share in-person connections

With the recent COVID-19 regulations, Recognized Student Organizations like Dance Marathon will be expected to check in-person event attendees for building access on their Safer Community App. With utilization of the recent regulations, students will be able to continue connecting in-person safely.

The application deadline for Learning Community Peer Mentors is February 12, 2021.
