[Daily Nebraskan] Students can identify a chosen name by accessing their student information system with no documentation needed. From there, the student’s chosen name will be used “wherever possible in the course of University education, business and communication,” according to the policy statement.

For students who want gender affirming clothes, the team at the LGBTQA+ Center created a place to discreetly get free identity-affirming clothing and accessories. The Lavender Closet will have its grand reopening on Friday, Sept. 3 at 10 a.m. on the third floor of the Nebraska Union.
