Fridays in Spring at the Unveristy of Nebraska–Lincoln.

'Fridays in Spring' highlights free(ish) student-focused events happening on campus on Friday afternoons and evenings in the Spring 2021 semester. All students are welcome.

NOTE: This listing is continually updated as events are announced.

COVID-19 Safety: For in-person events, students should be prepared to show their “Access Granted” status in the Safer Community app as part of the check-in process. Each person must wear a face covering and appropriate physical distancing is required throughout the event. Hand sanitizer is available. You should not attend an in-person event if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.

Free Bowling Fridays, hosted by Nebraska Unions
5:30 p.m. to midnight |  Husker Bowling Center in the Nebraska East Union map

UNL students enjoy free bowling + shoe rental w/ their NCard. Maximum 6 persons per lane. Face coverings are required to be worn. Physical distancing should be followed. Hand sanitizer available.

Tea Time Fridays
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. |  Kawasaki Reading Room in the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center  map

Visit the third floor reading room (Room 302) each Friday for a different tea goodie bag for you to brew and enjoy fresh in your home.

Free Skate Night (Last one of the season), hosted by Campus Recreation
8 to 11 p.m. |  John Breslow Ice Hockey Center  map

UNL students can ice skate for free on select Fridays. Free for UNL students with their NCard. Skate rental is available for $3 per pair. Facial covering and physical distancing are required.
