Sunday, August 29, 2021 Homecoming Competition Info Session & Registration
Feel the excitement of campus traditions through the 2021 Homecoming competition. Recognized Student Organizations, sororities, fraternities and residence hall floors and complexes can register to participate in individual competitions to accumulate points toward overall bragging rights.
An information session for interested groups will be held Wednesday, September 8 at 5 p.m. in the Nebraska East Union. This meeting is not required but is a great opportunity for groups interested in learning more about the competitions to attend. Meetings on September 16 & 22 are required for competition participation and groups will earn points for attending.
Organizations can choose from the following events to participate:
- Banner contest
- Blood Drive (sign ups for volunteers and donors begin Sept. 20)
- Showtime at the Coliseum
- Traditions Race
- Volunteering for the Homecoming Concert
- Cornhole Tournament
- Canned Food Drive Competition
- Jester Competition
Additional Homecoming events that are not part of the competition will include the Homecoming Parade and Cornstock Festival on Friday, October 1. All students are invited to attend these outdoor events to celebrate the excitement of Homecoming.
