REACH suicide prevention display at University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Ready for the latest GooseChase hunt? Find and upload photos of five REACH Suicide Prevention displays across campus for a chance to win an air fryer.

It’s easy to enter!

  1. Download the GooseChase app from the Apple Store or Google Play.
  2. Create your account.
  3. Join “REACH Suicide Prevention Display Hunt” or enter join code 47EDW5 in the app. The game will be live October 19-31, 2022.
  4. Have fun as you complete missions to enter to win!
  5. If you’re REACH trained, you can earn an extra raffle entry. Not trained? Sign up for a training on November 10 at 1 p.m. or schedule a training for a student group.

Rules

Eligibility

The REACH Suicide Prevention Display Hunt GooseChase competition is open only to enrolled students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Entries

Entries will comprise of entries submitted via the GooseChase app in the REACH Suicide Prevention Display Hunt (Game code: 47EDW5)

The acceptable format(s) and deadline for entries will be prescribed in the app for each game. Discretion as to whether or not an entry complies with each mission rests exclusively with the competition judges. Any entry deemed by the judges to potentially violate the UNL Student Code of Conduct may be referred to Student Conduct & Community Standards. Entrants retain ownership of and all rights to their entries. As a condition of entry, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln reserves a royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual right to:

a. Use your entry to promote future GooseChase challenges.

b. Publish your entry on university websites.

c. Publish your entry on university social media accounts.

d. Publish your entry in internal and external university communications, including for promotional or advertising purposes.

e. Keep the files submitted, and to archive the images on servers or in other electronic forms, so that your entry can be used for these purposes at any time.

Entries can be submitted at any time during each competition via the GooseChase app.

By submitting an entry, you: (i) warrant that the entry is the original, unpublished work of the entrant(s) nominated in the submission;(ii) understand that there is no benefit to you for your submission(s) and that the University has the right to use such submissions as noted above; (iii) acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating in this activity; (iv) release the University from liability for any violation of any personal or proprietary right you may have in connection with such uses; and (v) to the extent submissions are considered education records, you authorize the release of the education records in the manner noted above.

Judging

Competition judges will be drawn from staff in the Big Red Resilience & Well-being office.

The competition judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence nor discussion will be entered into regarding the judging process or the outcomes reached.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded as prescribed in each game. In games with more than one prize, winners will be randomly assigned to specific prizes.

Notifications

Prize winners will be notified by email within 7 days following the close of the game. Any prize not claimed within 14 days will result in a forfeit of the prize and random selection of a new winner.
