Friday, May 1, 2020 Mohatt receives 2020 Miracle Network Dance Marathon Distinguished Leadership Award
Madeline Mohatt, a senior journalism major and president of UNL Dance Marathon, was one of twenty-five graduating seniors from across North America selected to receive the 2020 Miracle Network Dance Marathon Distinguished Leadership Award for making an exceptional impact within their Dance Marathon program, on their individual campus and for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
Thousands of students participate in Miracle Network Dance Marathon at the approximately 300 colleges and universities across the U.S. and Canada. Madeline has been involved with HuskerThon – the official name of UNL’s annual event – since her freshman year. Under her leadership, $235,292 was raised during the most-recent HuskerThon on Feb. 29, 2020.
