As students return to campus for the 2021 spring semester, Campus Recreation is happy to offer many spots to reserve a time to use the strength spaces.

Two types of exercise periods are available: 50-minute EXPRESS workouts and 80-minute EXTENDED workouts. Reservations for both types are made through the department's website for the strength training and conditioning room at the Campus Recreation Center on City Campus and for the first floor at the Recreation & Wellness Center on East Campus.

For added safety, a 10-minute cleaning period follows every exercise period to allow for a thorough cleaning of the space and equipment before the next set of reservations are allowed into the spaces.

Reservation spots for the following day open each day at noon. Students and members are limited to one reservation per calendar day across all spaces. Furthermore, a 10-minute no-show wait time is being enforced; a reserved spot will be given to a walk-in member after 10 minutes past the reserved time.

A reserved spot can be canceled without penalty. To cancel, login to your rec account and go to My Account > Cancellations to select the reservation to be canceled.

All visitors to the Campus Rec Center and Rec & Wellness Center are required to show their verified "Access Granted" status in the Safer Community app upon entering the building.
