UPC Nebraska will present A Cappella Night at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 22 in the Nebraska Union Ballroom. The musical showcase will feature award-winning University of Nebraska–Lincoln student a cappella groups The Bathtub Dogs, Boots and Cats, Pitch Please, The Red Keys, Rocktavo and Take Note.

A new on-campus program aims to provide free, identity-affirming clothing to students. JD McCown, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s LGBTQA+ Center assistant director, said the Lavender Closet officially opened in the LGBTQA+ Center on Monday, Nov. 4. The project uses donations to meet its goals to ensure access to identity-affirming clothing, reuse clothes in a sustainable manner and provide volunteer opportunities to students, according to the center’s website.

When dining service manager Gina Guernsey began working with David Webb at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Selleck Dining Center, she said she knew his bright personality would be perfect for interacting with students. Now, Webb is a dining services associate known by students as “The Omelet Man.”

Help fight to end food insecurity among students at Nebraska through the Husker Pantry's annual food drive November 18-22, designated as National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. The pantry aims to collect 1,500 items to replenish the shelves and inventory. 100% of items collected benefit UNL students.
