Every UNL student is invited to Let’s GLO Crazy from 8 to 11 p.m. Friday, February 14 at the John Breslow Ice Hockey Center. Here are the three top reasons you should go to this free one-of-a-kind Campus Recreation ice skating event:

1. FUN

Nearly 1,000 students are expected to pack the ice rink to amp up the energy with a cosmic skate feel. Glow-in-the-dark lighting effects and glowing bracelets, necklaces, and glasses will be given out to attendees to create an otherworldly atmosphere.

Community vendors such as Raising Cane’s, KFRX, University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union and others will give away free swag and food, including koozies, Lumineers concert tickets for their upcoming Omaha show, and tickets to Kesha + Big Freedia at Stir Concert Cove.

This skate night is an inexpensive way to socialize with friends or a special someone this Valentine’s Day. You don’t need to know how to ice skate to attend.
