Before moving to campus, complete the COVID-19 Student Training

Friday, August 7, 2020 Before moving to campus, complete the COVID-19 Student Training

Campus gateway at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

From Dr. Laurie Bellows, vice chancellor for student affairs:

To successfully return to in-person learning, it’s very important that all students act to protect themselves and our Husker community. This includes understanding the risks associated with COVID-19 and taking proper precautions like wearing a face covering, washing hands often and practicing physical distancing.

This fall semester will look and feel very different. So that you’re well-prepared and understand our expectations, you need to complete the university’s COVID-19 Student Training before arriving on campus. This 40-minute training will help you understand COVID-19 terminology and symptoms, know what to do if you feel ill and learn how to prevent the spread of infection. You’ll also increase your understanding of several commonly used facilities/services on campus.

You’ll log in using your UNL credentials, and you can choose to complete the training all at once or in multiple sessions. Once you’ve done so, make your Cornhusker Commitment – a promise to persistently protect yourself, others and the Husker Community.

Taking precautions is extremely important. If each of us does our part, we can help continue to offer an in-person experience. For more information on the university’s COVID-19 response, you can visit covid19.unl.edu.
