Friday, November 6, 2020 Giving Back: Brighten the life of a child with 'Holidays for Little Huskers'
An annual event coordinated by the Women's Center, the Holiday for Little Huskers connects group and individual sponsors with the children of UNL student-parents to help make the holidays a little brighter and provide a little something extra during the winter season.
RSOs, Greek chapters, friends, and departments can come together to sponsor a child and purchase gift items from their wish list and drop off at the Women's Center on the 3rd floor in the Nebraska Union. Potential sponsors should sign up by November 13, 2020. The Women's Center will contact each sponsor to coordinate the gift-giving, which include the categories:
- an item to Wear
- an item to Read
- an item I Want
- an item I Need
Husker student-parents who want their child to participate in Holidays for Little Huskers can sign up and submit the child's wish list here.
