Fridays in Fall' highlights free(ish) student-focused events happening on campus on Friday afternoons and evenings in the fall semester.

'Fridays in Fall' highlights free(ish) student-focused events happening on campus on Friday afternoons and evenings in the fall semester. All students are welcome. Face coverings and appropriate physical distancing are required at these events.

Take Home Tea Time
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. |  Kawasaki Reading Room in the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center map

Visit the 3rd floor reading room (Room 302) each Friday for a different tea goodie bag for you to brew and enjoy fresh tea in your home.

Free Bowling Fridays
7 p.m. to midnight |  Husker Bowling Center in the Nebraska East Union map

UNL students enjoy free bowling + shoe rental w/ their NCard. Maximum 6 persons per lane. Face coverings are required to be worn. Physical distancing is encouraged. Hand sanitizer available nearby.

Outdoor Movie: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, hosted by Residence Hall Association
7 p.m. |  Cather Lawn, west of Willa Cather Dining Center map

Bring a chair or blanket for an open-air showing of the 2018 animated action film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse starring Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, and Hailee Steinfeld. Open to all students. Free food and giveaways. Face coverings are required for this outdoor event.

Nightmare at Devaney, hosted by UPC Nebraska
9 p.m. to midnight |  Parking Lot 52, adjacent to Devaney Sports Center map

A Halloween-themed drive-in double feature experience with Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas and Wes Craven’s Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). UNL students are encouraged to come enjoy the films from the comfort of their own cars in parking lot 52 on the south side of the Bob Devaney Sports Center. Free food. Capacity of 50 cars. Portable restrooms will also be available.
